A Guelph-based community group is pleased to announce its first Town Hall Meeting:

Shifting Perspectives: The Erosion of Human Rights

 

April 30, 2022, 2pm-4pm

This Town Hall Meeting will bring together community members with speakers who are experts in their field, to better understand the impact and effectiveness of our governments’ response to Covid 19. During the Town Hall Meeting the panel will present their expertise and personal experience. After the presentations, members of the live audience will have the opportunity to pose questions to the panel members.

 

Speakers Roster:

Dr. Paul E. Alexander, world-renowned Covid-19 consultant researcher in evidence-based medicine, research methodology and clinical epidemiology, former COVID Pandemic evidence-synthesis advisor to WHO-PAHO, Washington, DC (2020), and former Senior Advisor to COVID Pandemic policy in the US government, Health, and Human Services (HHS), Washington, DC., and former Senior Advisor to COVID Pandemic policy in the US government, presently informally providing support to some members of the U.S. congress.

 

Dr. Byram Bridle, Associate Professor of Viral Immunology, Department of Pathobiology at the University of Guelph. Research focus: vaccine development for the prevention of infectious disease. Expert witness for scientific matters related to COVID-19 in the Ontario Supreme Court of Justice and elsewhere.  Since the COVID-19 pandemic was declared, he has been actively involved in providing fact-based answers to questions posed by the public to help them make fully informed decisions about their health.

 

Jason Kowalashyn, Science Advisor for Take Action, Canada! And author of Deaths of Despair: Child suicide evidence package, with the assistance of Dr. Paul Alexander.

 

Dr. Julie Ponesse, MA in Philosophy with Collaborative Specialization in Bioethics from the University of Toronto and a Diploma in Ethics from the Kennedy Institute of Ethics at Georgetown University, publications in the areas of ancient philosophy, ethical theory, and applied ethics, taught at universities in Canada and the US. In December 2021, Dr. Ponesse released a book, published by The Democracy fund, titled My Choice: The Ethical Case Against Covid-19 Vaccine Mandates.
